How did we go from being 17 to 50 so quickly? My story is ordinary and uneventful for the most part. Got married. Had kids. Got divorced. Returned to and finished school. Been teaching for 20 years now. Have gone through the predictable turns of life we all face...a few triumphs, a few more set backs, some glorious accomplishments, some wretchedly painful losses. Currently in Lawrence at Lawrence High and thinking about retirement more and more each day, wondering what the next 33 years will be like.
