Wow, life has truly flown by; would you believe my son is coming back to Kansas in September for his 10 year SHHS reunion! I have one son who is married to a wonderful women and they have two children. I married a special man 3 years ago and I guess in our midlife crisis, we bought a 'hobbie farm'. We are surrounded by chickens, horses, our dogs and a few uninvited critters (snakes, skunks, and such). But we love out life. Together, we have a total of 10 grandkids. I continue to work as a mental health nurse practitioner; working with at risk teenage girls in a residential treatment program. Life really is what happens to you while you're making other plans. Most of my life occured so unscripted, but I have been blessed in many ways and God has kept me on a path towards all that I've really needed (in spite of myself). I hope I get a chance to talk further to everyone at the reunion and will take some extra stregnth Tylenol so I can still shake my booty (and do the YMCA!) at the dance.
